Certified Master Trainer, Barbara Day, has 35 years of experience in dog training and education, an exhibition in obedience, field, narcotics scent detection and confirmation and recognizes the importance of education for each dog. It took 15 years of detailing and writing what can be a book to fall back on in a class or read and train on your own. In 2021 the "Give your Dog a New Leash on Life" by Barbara Day, is in print and for sale as a hardbound book. This is the same book that has been used for years in our classes. Thanks to Deidre Tomkins she has illustrated the book to allow you to understand the training - step by step. 

We work to help you and your pet achieve a balanced attitude, along with the social skill needed in today's society. We teach you how to communicate with your dog, helping him to understand how to live in a human world by training on a "Work to Earn" method.

As a trainer who currently owns a Curly Coated Retriever and previously Doberman Pinschers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, and German Shepherds.  Barbara Day has finished all of her Chessies to their Championship and raised and bred Chessies, German Shepherds and Dobermans.  Barbara Day has worked with local police department's training police service dogs, along with training and personally owning dogs certified in narcotics, dual purpose police K9 and protection.
